The adidas NMD series has dominated the summer months thanks to the perfect combination of either a breathable mesh ventilated upper or the ever versatile Primeknit complete with a full-length Boost cushion system on the midsole.Adidas has more NMDs to release this weekend with two of them dropping as a part of the Winter Wool Pack.Summer is coming to an end and adidas are looking to the cold nights of winter. This latest ‘Winter Wool’ pack arrives in a thick and soft Primknit crafted with premium grade wool.If you’re worried about not being able to rock any NMDs during the coming months due to colder temperatures, adidas Originals has you covered.Featuring a predominantly black look, the kicks are then contrasted by a white midsole. It’s flexible and lightweight yet warm and snug for those icy mornings. As always, it’s complimented by durable elements including synthetic overlays to the three stripe branding and that iconic overlay to the rear.

The adidas NMD R1 Trail will be a Size exclusive to start and features a heavy duty ballistic nylon for a weather resistant finish while a winterized suede contrasts on the heel. Adding to the comfort of the upper, it’s the Ultra Boost technology underfoot which is guaranteed to impress.Releasing alongside an NMD City Sock, here are official images of the NMD_R1 from the Winter Wool collection which comes constructed out of a mix of warmth-giving wool yarn and breathable adidas Primeknit materials done in Core Black.The brand is gearing up to release a new warm wool take on the NMD_R1 Primeknit. Fitted with two EVA midsole plugs- both in black – some iconic streetwear appeal is added to an ultra comfortable design.Inspired by such trefoil classics as the retro-futuristic Micropacer and the Boston Super, adidas tapped into something truly special with the adidas NMD imprint and now we’re going to see how the silhouette adjusts for the upcoming Fall/Winter 2016 release slate with this “Winter Wool” Collection.The always flexible Primeknit tooling allows for a sock-like fit on both pairs while added tape on the City Sock creates a more supportive and futuristic aesthetic throughout.

Adidas is prepping one of its most popular silhouettes for the winter with the addition of wool to the adidas NMD R1.Additional Black accents have been added on the EVA inserts on the midsole, the heel, laces, inner liner, and even the rubber outsole.A reference to other trail boots can be found on the dual-colored laces while an EQT-esque teal accent color works quite well with the black and tan shades throughout.This adidas NMD comes constructed with a full Wool upper that includes a sock-fit collar.The “Wool Heel” NMD, as you may have guessed, features grey wool that surrounds the heel of the upper.adidas Originals adds a new bolstered Wool Primeknit to both the adidas NMD R1 and the adidas NMD City Sock, both returning in a simple Core Black colorway to showcase the new textile upper.
